This class trains students to assist residents with self-administration of medications. It is taught by a registered nurse and includes information, as required by law and the Dept. of Elder Affairs, to certify students to become med techs. The course is 6 hours and includes state law and rule requirements, procedures, and techniques for assisting with the self-administration of medications.
